James Dean

If it wasn't for my incredibly user-friendly Canon Rebel XSi, affectionately known as James Dean, I wouldn't be here.  Thanks to the food blogging community and the ever growing popularity of achieving the best possible photos of dinner I learned of the world of DSLR cameras and had to have one of my own.

In the last year I haven't learned much about using the camera or about photography in general, but through the simplicity of whirling dials and acquiring a couple of different lenses I think I've done OK.

Food blogging is fun and I won't be stopping anytime soon but I thought it was time to branch out and create a blog strictly for photography of any old thing I feel like...so here I am.  A Rebel without a clue! :)

I have actually signed up for a photography course at the local college so may learn a thing or two (one can only hope!) to share along my journey.  If anything, maybe I'll finally figure out white balance!

Thank you for stopping by...I hope you will stay a while...  Here's to a fabulous 2011...one photo at a time!
